Myrtle Jeppesen Anderson, 89 , passed away peacefully at her home on October 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Myrtle was born on November 13, 1922 to Emil and Minnie Jeppesen of Corinne Utah. Myrtle was reared and educated in the Box Elder County School system where she graduated from Box Elder High School. She later met and married her eternal partner Cleon Anderson on September 20, 1940. They celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary this year. They have been blessed with 5 children, 21 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Myrtle was a woman of many talents. Among those being an avid golfer, excellent fisherman and master gardener. Myrtle has spent many dedicated hours crocheting , knitting and hand sewing multitudes of gowns, afghans and quilts many of which she gave away as gifts. Myrtle has been a constant work partner with her husband on their farm, but also spent many years as a dedicated employee at Thiokol Chemical Corperation as a secretary. In her later years she became an excellent artist spending hours on oil canvas paintings, also giving away this talent to everyone who she thought would enjoy her efforts.
She is survived by her husband Cleon , Children, Michael (Ranae) Anderson, Bothwell; Marla Pierce, Garland; Dwight ( Darlene) Anderson, Brigham City; Nona (Doug) Hunsaker, Deweyville; Mindy Anderson , Bothwell; One sister Ruth Larsen , St.George, Ut. Brother in law Ralph Jergensmeier, North Ogden, Ut; Sister in Law Doreen Jeppesen, Roy, Ut. She is proceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, infant son Richard Emil; Grandson, Brian Wiechman; Infant Grandaughter, Sherri Lyn Pierce; infant grandsons, Jerry Cleon Pierce and Michael Shane Anderson. Great-granddaughters, Angela Lyn Fonnesbeck and Rachel Marie Fonnesbeck.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 30 , 2012, at the Tremonton 7th ward Chapel, ( Bothwell Church) at 12:00 noon. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Bothwell cemetery.
