Flaviano V. Avalos, 63, of Wauchula, passed away on Oct. 14, 2012, in Bradenton.
He was born March 20, 1949, in Michoacan, Mexico, and moved to Hardee County 33 years ago from Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Claudia Avalos; and his mother Maria Inez Avalos.
Flaviano is survived by his father Moises Avalos of Wauchula; two sons Carlos Avalos and wife Lacey of Wauchula, and Jose Avalos and wife Maria of Riverview; one daughter Cristina Avalos-Zamora and husband Cesar of Wauchula; three brothers Lorenzo Avalos, Serafin Avalos and Jose Luis Avalos, all of Wauchula; two sisters Balbina Miranda of Wauchula and Maria Elena Cortez of Texas; and six greandchildren, Rafael, Christian, Ramiro, Favian, Adriyanna and Cesar.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 404 W. Palmetto St., Wauchula from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, with Rosary at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Parish with Father Juan Carlos Sack officiating. Burial will follow in Wauchula Cemetery.
