Mrs. Thomas Hackney died at 10 o'clock this norning at the family residence, 974 West Fifth street, following an illness of short duration.
Her husband, Thomas Hackney, a well known Dubuquer, preceded her in death last Saturday, January 13.
The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cunningham of Table Mound township, pioneer settlers in that section.
She was a member of the Cathedral parish for many years and also an activce member of the Sacred Heart and Rosary leagues. She is survived by three brothers, Michael of Sioux City, Martinh of Chicago, and James of Dubuque, and one sister, Mrs. Thomas Cox of Dubuque.
