Born, May 12, 1923 in Bennion, Utah to Emil and Myrtle Parker. She was a giant among family and friends. She loved dancing, harmonizing and sewing. She enjoyed concerts and swimming at Como Springs. She had a very special spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A goal in her life was to go to the temple and receive her endowments, which she accomplished and was very proud of. Married Vern O. Heiden, later divorced. Married Van Showalter who is deceased.
Survived by daughter, Elaine (Larry) Arritola; sons, Marvin Lavern (Ann), Kenneth, Reed (Julie), Ron (Sharon); 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Preceded in dealth by both parents, two brothers Keith and Gilbert, and two sisters, Donna and Margarie.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2008 at the Legrand LDS Ward Chapel located at 1078 South McClelland at 12:00 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to Services.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
