Bessie Marceline Roberts, a long time resident of St. Albans, was born March 16, 1932, and went to be with the Lord July 24, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was a homemaker and a member of Huntington Street Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Estel Roberts.

She is survived by
one sister, Opal Dailey of St. Albans;
one brother, Ralph Graley and wife, Nellie of North Carolina;
one brother-in-law, Cecil Roberts and wife Carol of St. Albans;
three daughters, Carolyn Sue Holstein and husband, Billy of St. Albans, Patricia Ann Clark and husband Roger of Jefferson and Tammy Elizabeth Jeffries and husband Richard of Poca;
one son, Charles Ray Roberts and wife Sherry of St. Albans;
nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild;
many nieces and nephews;
Her dog, "Furby".

Service at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with Rev. Richard Mallory officiating. Entombment in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
