Mrs. Pumford Dies
After Short Illness
Florence Isabelle Pumford, 74, died at her home in Hay township early this morning, after an illness of only three weeks.
Mrs. Pumford was born in Marshall, on February 21, 1872, from where she came to make her home in Hay township more than 40 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, John Pumford, of Detroit; one son, William Heckerthorn, of Hay township.
Mrs. Pumford can be seen at the Hall Funeral Home until noon on Friday, when she will be taken to the Highwood Free Methodist church where she can be seen from 1 o'clock until 2, the time of the service. The Rev. Dale Woods will officiate. Burial will be in the Billings cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 4-9/1947 Column - 1 Page - 1.
