ESCANABA - Margaret A. Casey, 83, of Escanaba, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.

Margaret was born April 25, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Caron) Bussineau. She was united in marriage to John L. Casey on Aug. 28, 1948. Margaret was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells and worked as a cooks helper at the Escanaba Senior High School for many years. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, playing pool and cards, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Margaret is survived by four sons, Michael (Bonnie) of Wells, Patrick (Mary) of Pembine, Wis., Joseph (Patti) of Iron Mountain, and Russell (Tina) of Gladstone; two daughters, Debbie (Rick) Wilson of Gladstone, and Cheryl (John) Schorr of Santee, Calif.; three sisters, Marcella (James) Casey of Wells, Phyllis (John) King of Gladstone, and Genevieve (Richard) Morris of Spokane, Wash., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Gerald Bussineau; and sister, Frances Bougie.

Burial will be at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells with Rev. Fr. Eric Olson officiating.Margaret will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
