A memorial service for Jessie Arlene Schuster of Southwest Portland, a retired Portland bookkeeper, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Killingsworth Little Chapel of the Chimes. A second service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Beaverton Foursquare Church.

Mrs. Schuster died of causes related to age Saturday in her home. She was 75.

She was born July 23, 1917, in Kennewick, Wash. She graduated from Corvallis High School and had lived in the Portland area since about 1937. Mrs. Schuster worked at the Portland shipyards during the war years. She then worked at the Alpenrose Dairy for 34 years.

During the course of her career, she held positions as secretary to the owner and purchasing agent. Mrs. Schuster coordinated activities for Dairyville and played Mrs. Santa Claus at the dairy's annual Storybook Lane event. She had been active in the Dairy Museum and served on the board for the Champoeg historical pageant for many years. She retired in 1989.

Survivors include her sons, John F. of St. Helens and William M. of Cloverdale; daughters, Judith Schuster-Weis and Verna Bevens, both of Portland; sister, Juanita Philips of Portland; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in River View Cemetery.
