Alvy, Jacqueline Harriet December 13, 1925 - October 12, 2012 Jackie, born December 13, 1925 in Los Angeles, passed away October 12, 2012 in Los Angeles. She was 86.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Reuben Alvy, their son Ralph Alvy, and Ralph's wife Ashley Wrobel, along with Ashley's children, Jonathan and Sarah. Also surviving are her niece Marguerite Grauso and Marguerite's husband Frank Grauso and their children; her niece Cathy Alvy and Cathy's children; and her nephew Richard Alvy and Richard's children. She is also survived by Reuben's brother Jack Alvy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sally and Al Mayer, her brother Ted Osher, her son David Alvy, her sister-in-law Sarah Hutchings and her sister-in-law Natalie Alvy.

Jackie was dearly loved not only by her adoring husband, son and other family members, but also by many close friends. She was also loved by many people who helped her professionally with various aspects of her life. At her funeral on October 21, besides family, close friends and neighbors in her Mountain View Estates community, there was her private nurse, her interior designer, people who cleaned her house every Friday, and one of her favorite restaurant servers. The Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills chapel was packed.
