Frances Kuhlenschmidt, 95, of Lyons passed away Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. Frances was born December 28, 1922 in Mackinaw, Illinois to Frank and Edna (Tobias) Gatchel. She married Marvin Kuhlenschmidt on February 20, 1944; he passed away July 23, 1994. Frances is survived by a daughter, Sharry (Bob) Holmes, granddaughter Charla (Shawn) Gilbert, grandson Michael Kuhlenschmidt, daughter-in-law Avanell Kuhlenschmidt, great grandson's Sawyer and Dyson, step great grandson Austin, Step great granddaughter Megan. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, son Larry, sister Jeanne Gatchel and her parents. There is no public visitation. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
