He was born Feb 14, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Peter and Effie Lucas.

Larry served in the Army Air Corps as a sharp shooter. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1945. He came to Utah as a U.P. railroad employee where he later retired. Also, he retired from DDO and recently from Ogden City Marshall White Center where he loved all of Ogden’s children. He had been recognized and awarded for his service and love to the Ogden community numerous times.

He was a commander for the American Legion Post 66. He also served as a board member to many organizations.

Preceding his death was his first wife Yvonne Lucas; and second wife Lottie Lucas.

Surviving are his wife Cecelia Cynthia Lucas, Ogden; and his children Karen (Gred) Faciance, Kevin (Yvonn) Gomez, Karla (Michael) Meyer, all of Denver, Colorado; Terry (Pat) Lucas, Anthony (Jenny) Lucero, Don (Debbie), Joseph, and Ronay Noseworthy; Beverly and Lucas (Julie) Reichow, all of Ogden. He was well loved by all, especially by his 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; his lifelong friend, Roscoe Howard; and many other friends who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed. We love you Pop.
