Eunice D. Miller, of Elkader, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004, following a long illness. She was 74 years old.

Husband: Lawrence Miller, Jr.

Sons: Elgin, Larry, & Lee

Eunice was confirmed June 28, 1942 at St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg. She graduated from Farmersburg High School in 1945.

On January 26, 1948, in Elkader, Eunice was united in marriage to Lawrence Miller Jr.
Three children were born to this union.

Eunice worked as a secretary for Great Plains Company and Clayton County Soil Conservation Office. She and Jr. operated the Oasis Drive-In for many years in Elkader.

Eunice loved to crochet and needlepoint. She was a very loving woman who will be sadly missed by all.

At the time of her death, Eunice was a grandmother to five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held February 28, 2004, in Elkador, followed by burial at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Clayton Center, Iowa.
