Arthur was the 8th child and 4th son of Leroy T Amore and Harriet Mamie Rivers. He joined the military. He married Bertha Eaton in February 1942. They had one daughter. Arthur died in the trailer home he shared with his wife and daughter in December 1942 of fumes from a gas stove. Bertha and their daughter were okay.
