VALLEY, AL - Mrs. Ruby Lee Sims Colley, 87, of Valley died Monday, 22 Oct 2012 at Lanier Memorial Nursing Home in Valley.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, 25 Oct 2012 at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley, AL. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Colley is survived by her children, Monia Kay (D. J.) Bos of Tallassee, AL, Dennis Colley of Valley, AL, Linda (Ronald W) Veal of Newnan, GA and Rhonda Fran (Barry) Richardson of Valley, AL; grandchildren, Andrea Brooke Colley of Valley, AL, April Michelle Cash of Newnan, GA, Amanda Lee Cash of Newnan, GA, Heather Renee (Jason Lee) Bono of LaGrange, GA and Leigh Nicole Richardson of Valley, AL; and two close family friends, Doris Colley and Linda Frazier.

Mrs. Colley was born 27 Nov 1924 in Abanda, AL. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family. She was a homemaker and gardener who enjoyed spending time in her yard. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, David Colley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, 24 Oct 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL.
