She died at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, John Davenport in June of 2002. Also predeceasing Beverly were a sister, Barbara Reidy and brother, Hugh Allen Jr. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, her surviving family included her daughter, Diane M. Davenport of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Janelle and Sean Davenport also at home; sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Henry) Slovak of Waco, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Carole) Allen of Elmira, NY; brother-in-law, James Reidy of Elmira, NY and several nieces and nephews.
