She was the widow of Ashby P. Chinn, a member of Falmouth Baptist Church and was retired as a tour guide at Belmont.
Survivors include: one son, James R. Chinn of White Oak; two grandchildren, Lisa Chinn Marvashti of Spotsylvania and Robert Michael Chinn of Stafford County; one great-grandson, Reza A. Marvashti, II.
A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, July 23, 2004 at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2217 Princess Anne St., Suite 106-1F, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
