Mrs. Susie Allison.
Mrs. Susie Allison, wife of Royal G. Allison, of Barr township, a member of the board of county commissioners, died at the county hospital at ? o'clock Saturday night after a long illness from ? poisoning. She was taken to the hospital in a serious condition Thursday and her death was not unexpected.
Mrs. Allison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O. Gosling, was born December 1, 1886 in Hamilton county, Ohio, and was in her thirty-seventh year at the time of her death. She was married to Mr. Allison September 7, 1910 in Cincinnati where part of their married life was passed. They were the parents of two children. Howard, who died in August 1921 and Opal, 11 years old, who survives with the husband and one sister, Mrs. S.O. Wilson of the State road.
Mrs. Allison was a member of the Bethany Christian church. Her modest yet entirely amicable and pleasant disposition won for her a host of friends to whom the news of her death, coming at so tender an age, will be a sorrowful shock. Her taking off marks the passing of a good woman whom the community will miss and whose memory will be revered.
Funeral services were held from Bethany at 2:30 p.m., January 22. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery.
