Richard C. Badgley, 86, of 527 Dickey Ave., Greenfield, Ohio died at 1:45 P.M. Sunday, June 28, 1992 at his residence.
He was born November 2, 1906 in Carmel, Ohio to Frank and Rosa (Freeze) Badgley.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a former employee of the Greenfield Area Medical Center, Greenfield Presbyterian Church, American Pad & Textile Company and the Greenfield Power Plant.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes Bernice (Kerns) Badgley, whom he married November 6, 1926, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Nelson Badgley.
Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 1, at the Methodist Cemetery in Samantha, Ohio.
Rev. Jerry McConnaughey will officiate.
Friends may call at Murray Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday.
