Ladd McCord, COTTAGE GROVE
Funeral services for Ladd McCord, 93, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 27, 2006 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with burial in Gadsden United Methodist Church Cemetery on Monday, March 27, at 1:30 PM with Keith McCord officiating. Mr. McCord died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.
Mr. McCord was born February 25, 1913 in Gadsden, TN. He married Allie Mae Williams McCord 10-6-1931. He was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman.
Mr. McCord was preceded in death by his wife on August 24, 1995; his father, Robert L. McCord; his mother, Minnie Casey McCord; and brothers, Everett, Howard and Lewis McCord.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald (Wanda) McCord of Cottage Grove, TN and Keith (Peggy) McCord of Maryville, TN; two sisters, Elsie Williams and Mamie Grace Williams, both of Bells, TN; seven grandchildren, Keith (Amy) McCord, Jr., David (Iris) McCord, Johnny (Kenda) McCord, Joe (Jules) McCord, Gena (Butch) Maddox, Laura McCord and Amy McCord; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers to serve will be his grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Gadsden United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
