Clement was born Jan. 16, 1923 in the church parsonage located in Lynd Township, Lyon County, Mn.
He served as a Gunners Mate 2nd Class in the Coast Guard during WWII. Clement married Ruth Feldman Nov. 19, 1950 in Luverne, MN. He worked and lived in Sioux Falls for many years.
Survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Betty (Glen) Vant, Canton, SD, son-in-law, Todd Schmidt (Maggie); three grandchildren, Eva Schmidt, Jasmin Vant and Tom Vant.
A memorial service will be 11:00am Monday at Canton United Methodist Church, Canton, SD.
