A daughter of Dr. Michael Beshoar, Sr. and his third wife Anna ("Annie") Elizabeth Maupin.

Benedicta was a sister to Beatrice Bonaventura ("Bonnie"), Benjamin Bernadin, Bertram Bruno, and John Maupin. She had a half-brother named Michael Beshoar, Jr. who died at the age of forty years old.

Benedicta Beshoar was married to Edward Fox, M.D. and secondly, she married Rudolph Joerger.

Edward W. Fox and Benedicta were the parents of Frances and Anna. Rudolph Joerger and Benedicta had no known children together.
