Mrs. Phillips died October 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1939 in Bessemer, AL. to the late Ivy Judson and Sarah Lida Harris She was a homemaker and a member of the Papaw Hollar Baptist Church. She had a love of music playing the guitar, banjo, piano, she also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, drawing, and painting gardening and being in the outdoors.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death her brothers Sonny Harris, Ned Harris, Archie Harris and one sister, Sue Davenport.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Kenneth Phillips, daughters Cindy Null and husband Rusty of Pickwick, TN, Stephanie Howell and husband Scott of Corinth, MS and Suzanne Smith and husband Bill of MT; two sisters, Ivy June Bells of Rona Oak, VA and Lollie Henry and husband Foy of Barstow, CA; one brother, Doug E. Harris and wife Becky of Cleveland, TN; four grandchildren, Brandon Phillips and wife Mary, Jamie Purvis and Mark King, Felicity and Olivia Howell; and two great grandchildren, Deliah Phillips and Landon King.
