Born Sept. 20, 1919, at Hawk Run, she was the daughter of George and Eva (Jones) Mason.
Mrs. Galley was a member of Chapel of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Ladies' Guild.
She was a 1937 graduate of the former Morris Township High School.
Mrs. Galley had worked for 23 years as a nurse's aid in the children's ward at the former Philipsburg State Hospital until her retirement.
She is survived by a son, John R. Galley and his wife, Debra, of Munson; three grandchildren, John Galley and his wife, Kim, of Lanse, Debra Jean Galley of Morrisdale RD and Diane Alexander and her husband, Peter, of Bigler and five great-grandchildren, Hunter and Aspen Galley of Lanse and Zoe, Erika and Jacob Alexander of Bigler.
Mrs. Galley was the last of her generation, having been preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gustave G. Galley on Aug. 18, 1983; and two brothers, Harold and Wesley Mason.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Central Pennsylvania Chapter, 1790 W. College Ave., Suite 7, State College, PA 16801-2600.
