Henry was captured at the Battle of Hanover Court House Virginia and sent to Fort Delaware, MD. Later that year he was exchanged at Aikens Landing 5th August 1862. Nothing significant appears in these records until later during the Petersburg Campaign when he was admitted to the hospital for disease. Paroled at Appomattox Court House April 9th 1865.
