Margaret Elizabeth Amos Hudson, 78, died at 10:25 pm, Wednesday, December 22, 1971, in the Medcenter after a long illness.

A native of Louden County, TN, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth McCrary Amos; widow of William J. Hudson.

Survivors include her son, William Thomas Hudson; daughters, Helen S. Cortney, Mildred Dismukes, and Ruth Hudson Mason; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 3:00 pm, Friday, December 24, 1971, at Hayne Baptist Church by the Revs. Gardy Cline and Fred Smith; burial was held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 26, 1971, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenore City, TN by the Rev. Bernard Cortney. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
