Henry was the son of John B Pascoe and Philla A Williams. He married Ethel Rogers on Dec 28, 1919 at Cuba City, WI. They were the parents of Maurine.

Jan 19, 1933 - Carroll Daily Herald - J.H. Pascoe, 48, prominent farmer of this county, died this morning at 4:50 o'clock at St. Anthony hospital where he had undergone an operation Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Pascoe had been in his usual good health but became ill Monday night with acute intestinal obstruction. He was taken to the hospital at noon Tuesday where an operation was performed but to no avail.

Mr and Mrs Pascoe were preparing to leave for Cuba City, Wi to attend the funeral of Mrs Pascoes father, James H Rogers, when Mr Pascoe became ill. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon but the place and time have not been decided.

John Howard Pascoe was born in Carroll county on April 7, 1884. He was the son of J.B. Pascoe, among the early settlers of the county who came here in the spring of 1878 from Grant county, Wi. The father helped to organize Beulah district and was active in having Beulah church built, which was razed a few years ago when the members joined the Carroll church.

Howard Pascoe attended the Van Ness Normal school at Denison and then returned home and with his brother, J.A. Pascoe, devoted his time to farming the home place on which he was born. His father made his home with him until his death in 1929.

He was united in marriage to Miss Ethel Rogers at Cuba City, Wi Dec 28, 1919 and they had one daughter, Maurine, who with her mother, survives. He also leaves 3 brothers: Dr H.R. Pascoe of North Adams Street; R.N. Pascoe of Rockwell City; and J Arthur Pascoe with whom he lived on the home farm.
