Services for Lloyd L. Bowman, 77, will be Wednesday at 1:30pm at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, the Rev. Thomas Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, near Arcadia. Visitation will be today from 4 to 9pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Bowman died Monday (March 14, 1988) at 6:20am at his residence.

He was born Oct. 27, 1910 in Hancock County to Aurleius and Weltha (Shanks) Bowman. He married Nellie Dicken, Aug. 4, 1940, in Fostoria, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dale L. and Gary D.; two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Eileen) Morris and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Straub; two brothers, William H. and Raymond L.; five sisters, Imo Seever, Ruth E. Graves, Mrs. Robert (Margaret E.) Leonard, Mrs. Keith (Anna Mae) Feathers, and Mrs. Dewey (Laura I.) Munger; and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Bowman retired in 1975 as weigh master for Ohio Farmers Grain Corp., now Countrymark, when he had worked for 33 years. He was a member of Tri-County Senior Citizens and American Association of Retired Persons. He was treasurer of the Gideon Camp, past master of the Washington Grange, and Pleasant View United Methodist Church.
