Joyce Parrish Aegerter passed away peacefully at her home in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband at her side, on April 27, 2003, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Joyce was born April 1, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joseph Fernelius and Vilate Sanders Parrish. She graduated from Granite High School and received a bachelors degree from USU and masters degree from BYU and Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Joyce married Richard (Dick) Edward Aegerter on July 6, 1973 in the Logan Temple. She was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her knowledge of and trust in her Heavenly Father and the gospel was unwavering. She served her Heavenly Father faithfully, accepting many church callings and encouraging all she met. She was an avid genealogist, researching her family and Dick’s back many generations. She served a mission in the Central British Mission and another with her husband in the Chicago Temple. She and her husband served in the Washington, D.C. Temple from its opening in 1974 until her death.
She is survived by her husband Dick; mother, Vilate; sisters, Kathryn Sperry, Virginia Dutson and Marilyn Pettey; and brother, David Parrish. Preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends and family may call Monday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning one hour prior to services. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
