Charles died at the home of his sister and husband in Katy, Texas Sept 25,2012.
Charles was a semi-truck driver before his retirement. He also served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marines.
He is survived by one son, Danny Ray and wife Karen Stone of Marion; two grandchildren, Kristen Stone of Lexington and Kirk Stone of Ashland, Ky.; and one brother, Gene and wife Anna Stone of Calvert City, Ky. Sister Oma and Clayton Lockridge. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Abney Stone; parents, Learner H. and Ocie Millikan Stone; and brothers, Harry "Buddy" Stone of Henderson, KY and Willard Stone of Marion, KY.
At his request Charles was cremated and laid to rest in the Military Cemetery, Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, TX.
