This is what I have in my file for Rev. John Stough's burial site.
"He died at age 83 and is buried in a country cemetery 5 mi. north of Bueyrus, OH. (then?) Myer's Cemetery, Shelby, OH."

Note 2: Rev Larry Hoffsis writes: "I think this was not the original burial (for subject). If memory serves, he was buried in Liberty Twp but when a proposed road was to go through the cemetery, graves were moved, including his. I think he was reinterred in Shelby because of a relative there. Maybe his son John G. Stough."

From CCGS TRACKING April 2017: Dolores Sweney was (born in 1925!) Thank you, Mary Fox and all Contributors. I thought you would enjoy this article. I am a great-great granddaughter of Reverend John (Stauch) Stough. We have a biography of him researched and written by Larry Hoffsis. Rev. Stough had 4 children with his first wife, one was Susan. Stough was the first Lutheran minister to cross the Allegheny Mountains by horseback into Ohio country. Mr. Hoffsis discusses the services Rev. Stough provided and the churches he established. He was first buried near the Crall/Liberty Chapel church but the road was threatening his gravesite, so family had his remains moved into the cemetery. Much later the remains were moved to Shelby as noted in the April 2017 issue of Tracking. We have a picture of him and I cannot claim or disclaim the picture printed in the April issue.
