Phyllis was born December 18, 1934 in Richmond County, daughter of John and Mattie Lee McCaskill.
She along with her late husband, Bobby, worked 40 plus years at Marks Funeral Home, Rockingham, and she continued to do so until two years ago. Mrs. Lammonds was always ready to lend a hand to each family, no matter in what capacity. She enjoyed playing the piano, was very witty and a master seamstress. She was exceptional in many areas. Phyllis loved her children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Bobby Lammonds; her only sister, Lenore Kester; niece, Melissa Kester; and a nephew Joe Kester.
