Ruth V. (Strumm) Haley, 95, of Framingham died on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of Earl J. Haley. They had been married for the past sixty years. Born in Framingham, daughter of the late John and Emma (Pickles) Strum, she was a lifelong resident. Ruth worked for many years at the Beacon Terrace Restaurant in Framingham and also at the Quartermaster in Natick. Besides her husband, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Frederick and Dolly. Funeral services will take place on Monday October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday October 21, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Ruth's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice .
