Berlina, a native of Española, passed away at her home in La Mesilla with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by parents Antonio Maria and Julianita Maestas-Archuleta; brothers: Margarito, Gilbert and Dennis; and sister Flossy Archuleta.
Berlina was survived by her siblings: Mela Garcia, Ruben Archuleta (wife Virginia); husband of 66 years, Marcelino F. Quintana; children: Paul, Pauline, Dolores and Stephanie; sons-in-law Tony Marquez and Kevin Montoya; seven grandchildren: Chris, Patrick, Thomas, Maricia, Ian, Sara and Marlina; and two great-grandchildren: Cruz and Santyana.
A Rosary was recited on October 22, 2012 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Mass of Christian burial was on October 23, 2012 also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial followed in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Orlando Archuleta, Eliseo Quintana, Chris Quintana, Patrick Quintana, Thomas Quintana, and Ian Marquez. Honorary pallbearers: Bobby Baros, Larry Gurule, Susie Sanchez, Charlene Ortega, Sara Marquez, Marlina Montoya, Maricia O'Keefe and Santyana Quintana.
