Audrey Moles Backus, 83, of Leon, formerly of Liberty, died Nov. 16, 2004, after a long illness.
Mrs. Backus was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lonzo Cummings.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Ray Moles Sr. of Cross Lanes and William Cummings of Leon; daughters, Rose M. Fox of Delphos, Ohio, Luberta Cummings of Point Pleasant, Carolyn Smith of Leon and Sharon Williams of Cross Lanes; brothers, Damon, Clifton, Theodore, Benjamin and Manford Moles; sisters, Gwendolia Null and Sylvia Beller; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
