BRYAN -- Roger L. Lutz, 61, Bryan, died Sunday evening, Jan. 6, 2008, in his home.

He was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Bryan, the son of Wilmer and Euginia Lutz. He married Ann Mack, who survives. He was a carpet salesman and installer and a Bryan city firefighter for more than 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233.

Also surviving are three daughters, Tina Hobgood of San Antonio, Texas, Tara (Tracy) Grimes of Defiance and Casey, Bryan; and five grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a son, Roger.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bryan Eagles Aerie's banquet facility with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Bryan American Legion Post will conduct military honors. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Burr Funeral Home & Crematory, Bryan, with a fireman's service at 7 p.m.
