SAN LEON - Esther Shipley, 78, a retired US Postal Service clerk, died Saturday at Humana Hospital-Clear Lake in Webster.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, the Rev. Jack Pierce officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jack Rowe Funeral Home of League City.
Born June 2, 1906, Mrs. Shipley was a member of the American Postal Workers Union. A former resident of Houston, she had been a San Leon resident for 2½ years.
