Fannie A. Baker widow of Willis Baker, died Tuesday, July 27, 1948, in the Boughton Convalescent Home, where she had made her home for the past three and one-half years. She was the daughter of Joel and Johanna Strange Adams and was born in Taunton, Mass, on June 6, 1861. Her father and husband were farmers on the Troy-Sylvania Road for many years. She was a bright woman, a great student of Esperanto. She is survived by several cousins. Services were held from the Soper & Vickery Funeral Home at 2:30 pm Thursday afternoon. Rev. Orey Crippen, with burial in Glenwood cemetery, Troy.
