Thomas, son of Amon NOBLE and Matilda COATES was born in Essex County, Ontario, Canada and died in Arnstein, Ontario, Canada. On 27 Apr 1921 he married Mary Jane MCCOMBS, daughter of Edward Ellery MCCOMBS and Elizabeth DEPEW and they had 3 children; a son, Glenn Ainsley; and twin girls Doris Elaine (LEE)(WHITE)(GEROW); Lois Eileen (MILLER)
~~~~~
Died of heart attack, while out logging. Gran found him laying across the log he had just chained behind the horse, Jerry, to skid it out. Jerry used to head for the barn immediately the reins were dropped, but this time he just stood patiently and waited for help. The dog went home and got Gran and she flagged down the snow plow and sent him for help. I was in school at the time and Uncle Glenn came to pick me up and drove me around until I stopped crying, so that we wouldn't upset Granny any more than she already was. The funeral was from the farm house. His casket was in our living room for 3 days. This is the first time I ever saw my Mom cry.
