Jewel Bracknell Doran, 89, of Dresden, died Saturday, February 3, 2007, at Martin Health Care & Rehab. Funeral services for Mrs. Doran were held Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Apostolic Church, near Dresden. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bro. Terry Tucker officiated the services.
Mrs. Doran was a retired seamstress for Kellwood Corporation and a member of Liberty Apostolic Church. She was born in Steele, Missouri to the late Jack and Emma Essary Bracknell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Doran was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Edkar Doran; a daughter, Joyce Mayo; and a son, Robert Doran.
Mrs. Doran is survived by two daughters, Betty Bruce of Medinah, Illinois, and Debbie (Carl) Gallimore of Dresden; a son, Clois (Reba) Doran of Henderson; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren.
