Maryon was general manager of the Majestic Theater in Dallas. He had worked for the Interstate Theater Circuit, Inc. for more than 30 years and supervised operations of both the Palace Theater in Breckenridge and the Majestic Theater in Eastland in 1947 and later opened the Oleander Drive-In Theater. He was a Dallas native, graduate of North Dallas High School, a Mason, and a Shriner. Survived by his wife, a daughter, mother, five brothers, and a granddaughter.
