Funeral services for Tillman A. Andrus of Brenham will be held Friday, Dec. 14, at 2pm in Brenham Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Thomas Currie officiating.

Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Andrus died Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 12:30pm in a local hospital.

He was born Aug. 7, 1903, in North Zulch, the son of James T. and Daisy Couch Andrus.

He attended public school in Henderson.

On July 9, 1935, he and his wife Theresia were married in Galveston by the Rev. Pierson.

A veteran of World War I, Mr. Andrus served in the Army.

He was employed as an independent oil operator in the oil industry.

Mr. Andrus was a member of Brenham Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Theresia A. Andrus of Brenham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and B.T. Scott of Greenville, Miss. and Jean and James D. Wallace of Longview; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sons, one step son and one great-grandson.

Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Those who wish may give memorials to Brenham Presbyterian Church.
