Margaret Carrol Flaherty was the daughter of Thomas Carrol and his wife, Ellen Raddi. Margaret was born in Ireland and died in Roosevelt Township, Pocahontas County, Iowa. She was buried on 18 June 1915.

Death of Mrs. John Flaherty

Mrs. John Flaherty died at her home two miles east of Pocahontas, yesterday morning. she was 85 years old and leaves a family of six children, viz: Thomas, John G., Mary and Michael J., of Pocahontas; Mrs. Ellen Bell, of Omaha, and Mathew J., of Lakes Andes, S. D.

Her maiden name was Margaret Carroll and she was born in Kerry county, Ireland, March 10, 1830. She married to John Flaherty, who died a short time ago before coming to this country.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at Sacred Heart church, Father Pape officiating, and the remains buried in the Catholic cemetery.
