She married James L. Badger Sr. in Lowell, Mass., on April 1, 1940. After WWII she and her husband moved to West Islip, N.Y. Midge worked for over 20 years at Good Samaritan Hospital. Once retired in 1981, she and her husband Jim moved to Twin Mountain, N.H., where they lived for 28 years until moving into the Lafayette Center in Franconia, N.H.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years; her two sons James L. Badger Jr. and his wife Lynda of Pennsylvania; Scott B. Badger and his wife Carla of Virginia; her five grandchildren Lynda Badger of Wisconsin, Dawn Ferree and her husband Rob of Missouri, Kathleen Parrish and her husband David of Virginia, James Badger and his wife Jessica stationed in Germany, and Brian Badger of Maryland; and her five great-grandchildren: Daniel, Allison, Sasha, Timothy and Broderick. She is also survived by her sisters Ann Schifano of Ohio; Lucy Lafferty of Arizona and her brother Frank Kollarek of Florida.
