Services for Betty Jean Perry were held Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Duvall officiated. Burial followed in Bond Baptist Cemetery in Neshoba County.

Mrs. Perry, 63, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, in Neshoba County General Hospital.

She was born and reared in Neshoba County, made her home in Moss Point for many years but had lived back in Neshoba County for the past 28 years. Mrs. Perry was a member of Bond Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Perry; and her daughter, Lisa Holley.

Survivors include her sons, Acie Leon Perry and Randy James Perry, both of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jo Ann Seale and Lessie Lee Tingle, both of Philadelphia, Sarah Holmes of Morton and Mary Jeanette Roach of Tupelo; and brothers, Adolphus "Doc" Parker of Philadelphia and Aron Lee Parker of Mountain Home, Ark.

Pallbearers were Jimmy O'neal Kyzar, Charlie Roach, Randall Sisson, David Hall, Bobby Edwards, Mack Moore and Eddie Henson.
