Ralph B. Firebaugh, ("Red"), 77, of Hollins, died Friday, July 23, 1993. He was a charter member of Hollins Road Baptist Church, was a retired employee with the Life Insurance Company of Virginia, a former member of the N&W String Band, and played for local Diners Clubs. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice B. Firebaugh; two sons and daughters-in-law, P. Dale Firebaugh, and wife, Theresa, Tommy L. Firebaugh, and wife, Kathy; two grandsons, Jeffrey D. Firebaugh, Jayson T. Firebaugh, and wife, Angela, all of Roanoke; one sister, Mary F. Gibson, Roanoke; one brother, Joseph W. Firebaugh, Troutville; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1 p.m. Monday, July 26, with the Rev. Mark Washington and the Rev. Charles R. Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
