Rachel Pamelia Brewer, age 57 years, 9 months and 5 days was born January 9th, 1876 at Kerrville, Tex. She was married to John H. Brewer November 28, 1897 at Mansfield, Texas. To this union was born six children, five girls and one boy all of whom are living. She joined the Christian church and was baptized at Crawford, Oklahoma in 1918.
She departed this life October 14, 1933.
Left to mourn her loss are her husband, John H Brewer and her children, Mrs. Jess Blurton of Crawford, Mrs. Everett Brinlee of Florence, Colorado; Mrs. George Bond, H.C. Brewer, of Durham; Mrs. Otis Glover of New Mexico; Mrs. Doc Fish of Durham; one brother, W.H. Crawford of Mearkel, Texas; two sisters, Mattie Glenn of Kerrville, Texas; and Sallie Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas; besides a number of nieces and nephews; 24 grand children and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery at Durham. Rev. C.E. McGaughey of Elk City officiated and Tunnard Funeral Home in charge.
