Dr. Edward Orrin Minniear, Sr., 69, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1997, in Lafayette Home Hospital. He was the father of Edward O. Minniear, Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA.
Dr. Minniear practiced general dentistry in Lafayette, IN, for 37 years, retiring in 1985. He was a graduate of Purdue University and University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He was a past member of the Indiana Dental Association, and a colonel in the Army Reserves.
Dr. Minniear is survived by his wife, the former Maude Anna Meuth, whom he married Feb. 10, 1948; his son; and three grandchildren in the Fredericksburg area.
A funeral mass was said Monday, Oct. 7, 1997, at St. Mary Cathedral, Lafayette, with entombment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
