Fred "Butch" Adams, Jr., 61, of Hallandale, Fl., died Saturday, November 25, 2000, at the Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
He was born in Coatesville, Pa., and was a former resident of Palatka. He was in the used car business in Hallandale where for many years he owned and operated Fred Adams Used Cars.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and John Bergamo of Coconut Creek; one son, Tim Adams of Hallandale; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Doubts of California, Jean and Robert Powell, and Annabelle and Curtis Cox, all or Pennsylvania, and Bobby Jean Holley of Satsuma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Horace "Sonny" Adams of Texas and Richard and Wanda Adams of Palatka; two granddaughters, Ashley Bergamo and Kailey Bergamo, both of Coconut Creek; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at Masters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ira Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens.
