Rosemary Moorman Skees, 86, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born March 23, 1926, in Cecilia to William Clifford and Shelley Calvert Moorman. She was a graduate of Bethlehem Academy class of 1943. During her life she worked as a secretary at Fort Knox, was owner and operator of Rosemary's Antiques and was a technician at Etown Surgical Supply and Woodland Terrace. She was a member of St. James Parish. She is survived by three children, Nancy K. Skees and Charles (Paula) Skees, both of Elizabethtown, and Theresa (Ken) Pease of Versailles; seven grandchil-dren, Susan Gifford, Joey (Jennifer) Hurley, Jessica (Josh) Burton, Clifford Skees, Becca Pease, Elizabeth (Charles) Tate and Jacob Pease; eight great-grandchildren, Shellie, Torie, Will, Jaclyn, Joslyn, Layna, Conner and Joey; and her longtime friends, Mary Rose Klueber and Martha Clark. A graveside service is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at St. James Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at 310 W. Dixie Ave., Elizabethtown. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to P.A.W.S Shelter, P.O. Box 1116, Elizabethtown, KY 42702. Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
