Linda was born on November 9, 1963 at 4:05 pm at the Princeton Community Hospital. She was delivered by Dr. Paul Keith and her nurse was Mrs.Moel. She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 21" in length. Her head measured 13 1/2 " and her chest was 13". She had dark hair, medium complexion and blue eyes.

She was baptized by pastor Marvin Blaske on November 24, 1963 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Milaca, Mille Lacs County, Minnesota.
Her godparents were Cliff and Leita Bemis. Her baptism outfit was white with a white cap given by her grandmother, Minnie Puckett.

Infant Daughter Passes Away
Linda Jean Bemis passed away on Thursday Feb. 9, of complications following a case of chicken pox.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Bemis of Milaca and was born Nov. 9, 963, passing away at the age of two months and twenty-seven days.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Milaca with Rev. Marvin Blaske officiating. Interment was in the Milo Cemetery.
Besides her sorrowing parents, little Linda Jean is survived by a brother and sister; also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Puckett of Milaca and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Bemis of Estes Brook, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
